A Historic Restoration at The Smugglers Inn
We were thrilled to be entrusted with the restoration of the beautiful sash windows at The Smugglers Inn in Milford-on-Sea, a pub with a rich history dating back to the 1700s. The original windows had been weathered by time and coastal elements, showing signs of significant disrepair.
Our skilled team meticulously undertook the restoration, carefully stripping back old paint, repairing and replacing damaged timber, and installing new glass where needed. We worked to preserve the authentic character of each window, ensuring that the finished result would stand strong for years to come while honouring the building’s storied past. This project is a fantastic example of how expert restoration can bring new life to a historic property.
